Our founder spent more than a decade inside the private security industry — working posts, leading teams, and watching the same problems repeat at company after company.
Officers were treated as numbers. Leadership was absent. Standards bent to whatever a contract would allow. Clients were paying for security and getting a uniform on a chair.
Against All Odds Security was started to do it differently. Respect the people doing the work. Operate with integrity. Show up the same way every shift. Earn the trust of every client, one post at a time.
What we saw in the industry.

Kieonte May was like a brother and played a meaningful role in the foundation of this vision. Though he passed before he could see it come to life, his presence and influence remain in everything we build today.
We honor his memory by holding ourselves to a higher standard — staying disciplined, professional, and committed to protecting others the right way in every service we provide.
He is not forgotten, and his name continues to move with us.
